Securing EU funding just got easier

Our method focuses on the needs of each individual client:

  • Mapping the current situation

MAST is ready to cooperate with any type of organization for successful projects. We offer an extremely wide spectrum of services from planning to actually deploying strategies.

EU funding is managed according to very strict rules in order to ensure that all funds are spent in transparent and accountable manner. More than 76% is managed through 5 big funds:

  • European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) – regional and urban development
  • European Social Fund (ESF) – social inclusion and good governance
  • Cohesion Fund (CF) – economic convergence by less-developed regions
  • European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD)
  • European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF)

In the majority of the countries the sectors that attract the largest share of those funds are R&D, environment, energy and ICT, agriculture, employment and education.

The European Union spends more than 50 billion euros annually on official development aid, and is one of the biggest donors worldwide.

MAST consulting with its experience can help any type of organization tap into those funds as well funds of other organizations such as the World Bank, the EIB and the EBRD.

H2020 and EU Grants

The EU offers a wide variety of grants in order to further the interest of the EU or contribute to the implementation of an EU programme or policy. Any interested party can apply by responding to calls for proposals. Those programmes include a lot of sectors and are granted on a nonprofit basis.

Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020) – in addition to the private investment that this money will attract. It promises more breakthroughs, discoveries and world-firsts by taking great ideas from the lab to the market.

By coupling research and innovation, Horizon 2020 is helping to achieve this with its emphasis on excellent science, industrial leadership and tackling societal challenges. The goal is to ensure Europe produces world-class science, removes barriers to innovation and makes it easier for the public and private sectors to work together in delivering innovation.

Horizon 2020 is open to everyone, with a simple structure that reduces red tape and time so participants can focus on what is really important. This approach makes sure new projects get off the ground quickly – and achieve results faster.

MAST can offer its hindsight during the proposal preparation as well as technical assistance during implementation.

The Interreg Europe programme financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) aims to improve the implementation of regional development policies and programmes, in particular programmes for Investment for Growth and Jobs and European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) programmes.

By co-financing projects and four thematic platforms it allows regional and local public authorities and other players of regional relevance across Europe to exchange practices and ideas on the way public policies work, and thereby find solutions to improve their strategies for their own citizens.

Erasmus+ will support transnational partnerships among Education, Training, and Youth institutions and organizations to foster cooperation and bridge the worlds of Education and work in order to tackle the skills gaps we are facing in Europe. It will also support national efforts to modernize Education, Training, and Youth systems. In the field of Sport, there will be support for grassroots projects and cross-border challenges such as combating match-fixing, doping, violence and racism.
